In the second episode of a special two-part series, People Who Bleed, Sara and Marshall speak with experts and advocates about menstrual inequity and period poverty, the importance of inclusive, gender-neutral period language, normalizing the conversation, and the Kitchener-based company, Diva Cup, named one of Canada’s greenest employers. Part two of People Who Bleed includes guests Carly Friesen, the Social Impact and Sustainability Manager at Diva International, Dr. Tina Rogers, a certified sports nutritionist, competitive athlete, and Naturopathic doctor at Korrective Healing, and Kevin Hiebert of Changing the Flow, a Waterloo Region social enterprise dedicated to the achievement of menstrual equity.
